1st weigh in since the back-to-Christmas-class and I was down 2.5lbs!
Delighted and it was the boost I needed to feel more positive and keep on track!
Celebratory “fakeaway” dinner tonight of Taco Fries and a pack of these as my treat – 5 syns for the pack of 2 biscuits and they are delish!!
1.5lbs weight loss!! Bringing me to 11st 10lbs and officially at my pre-pregnancy weight!
I celebrated by baking scones, as you do!

I’m loosing track of writing weigh in posts and when I weighed in last! I’ve had a few very busy weeks with much eating and drinking and being both merry and melancholy! I turned 30 this week and had a party – I weighed in after my last post with a loss of 4lbs – the 2 recently gained and another 2 off!
I received my first 7lbs loss marker and went on last weigh in to loose another 2lbs, bringing total weight loss since joining online to 9lbs!!
I still have a long way to go but I’m happy with the progress so far and despite a set back with my foot (pins came out this week but I was told another 4 weeks with no weight on it which was hard to take!!) I feel happy with my week off Watching What I Eat — its not every week you turn 30 and I will be back on track next week!
I will finish this entry with a picture of the amazing cake my friend brought to cheer me up – chocolate brownie base, vanilla cheesecake layer and topped with raspberry cream – watch this space I will attempt to recreate it, it’s a HummingBird Cafe recipe and was absolutely delicious!!
Monday saw me balancing on the scales for my official weekly weigh in (I don’t know if you have ever tried to weigh yourself while in a non-weight bearing plaster cast on one leg, it’s quite hard to do, i’m getting quite good at it!)
I wobbled only slightly when the new figure appeared – 12st 1lbs – 2lbs loss!!! De-bloody-lighted!! I had spent a week at home, being reasonably “good” and lost 2lbs, extra happy after staying the same the week previous.
What I love about Slimming World Online is that when you are an online member, you get encouraging emails every few days, including a reminder to weigh in so I was delighted to find this email in my inbox on Tuesday morning – almost, nearly as good as the applause in the actual class.
I’m beginning to panic slightly that my weight loss is in fact, muscle loss from being so immobile for the last 6 weeks, but with 8 more weeks in plaster and then weeks and weeks of physio to get the foot moving again it’s unlikely that exercise for the lower half of my body will be stepped up any time soon.
In the meantime, I will continue with the full body weight lifting (aka using crutches) and a version of pilates that I am attempting while in bed to try and keep my back from seizing completely. I’ve lost 6lbs now since joining online so fingers crossed I get my first half stone next week!!
I ordered the Dessert book as a treat for myself and there are some gorgeous recipes in it that I cannot wait to try!!
